Interview with fashion blogger – Teng

Today I decided to give you another style perspective. I interviewed this amazing girl. Her name is Teng and I really like her style. She interviewed me too and if you want, you could go and check it out on her blog itsjustteng.wordpress.com

1. How would you describe your blog?

It’s a place where I can share everything I’m passionate about with the world. Fashion and beauty – but also thoughts and opinions. A place where I just can be me.
2. How did you first get in to blogging? Why did you chose to blog about fashion/beauty?
I’ve always liked to share my thoughts and outfits with other people. But it got to a point when people where so tired of listening to all I had to say. So I decided to start blogging as a way to express my love for fashion and to share my opinions about pretty much anything.
3. Do you follow any rules when putting an outfit together?
Not really. The only ”rule” I follow (if it is a rule) is simply that I need to feel comfortable in the outfit I’m wearing. I need to feel like my self and don’t dress up like somebody else just because it’s ”in fashion”.
4. Where do you see your blog in five years?
This is a hard question, haha. I kind of see my blog as a place where I can be me. Express my style and inspire people to do that themselves. And I hope that never changes, I want to continue being me and produce even better content. No matter how many readers I get.
5. What are some of your fashion/beauty must haves & why?
Fashion wise it must be a pair of blue jeans and a white shirt with a collar. I love jeans since it goes with pretty much everything and the shirt can make a outfit go from nah to wow. Just by putting a sweater on top. Beauty wise I always need to have a good chapstick, I can’t stand dry lips. Right now I’m in love with burt bees beewax lipbalm. It has a fresh minty tone to it and I couldn’t recommend it enough.
6. Can you describe your personal style? Where do you get your inspiration from?
My personal style is pretty much clothes that I like. I don’t really follow the latest fashion I just do me. For fall I really like turtlenecks and sweaters with collars. Skirts with knee high socks is also something i love to wear. So I wear what I feel like, and I hope you do the same. Don’t let anyone else tell you what to wear. You do you.
7. Where do you buy most of your clothes from?
I like to buy my clothes from a lot of different places. I really enjoy finding small unknown stores with unique clothes.
8. What’s your go to outfit for work/school?
Right now it’s a pair of jeans with a turtle neck and my brown boots. Since it’s fall and starting to get cold here in Sweden. But in summer I love to wear dresses ans skirts.
9. What’s your go to outfit for a night out?
You could never go wrong with a little black dress. Style it with some heels and a necklace then you’re good to go.
10. What would you never wear?
I should never say never but I really don’t like bootcut jeans. I don’t know why but they are just not really my style.

Tuesday’s stylish wardrobe :)

This outfit is beyond cute. I absolutely love it! The shorts are from Pacsun and they fit so well, closing with a zipper on the side. The bodysuit tank is so useful, you can put it with any outfit. Its great that it tucks into your clothes. You could wear it with hightop shorts or destroyed jeans and a cute sweater. The sweater is from Free People and I use it all the time. People probably get sick of seeing me in it haha 😉 but i don’t care only because it is so comfy and it goes with almost very outfit. Sorry for not having shoes in the pictures, I just now literally realized it. I promise you I will wear shoes in the rest of my following post! The necklace I am wearing is from a website called rocksbox.com which is great for all your accessory needs. They mail you 3 items at a time and then you mail them back or decide to purchase them. New healthy living

So, I recently started working out and trying to eat healthy. I want to lose 20 pounds total. I have recently started going to a personal trainer, and I love it. I plan on working out at least 2-3 times per week, and then as I get on track I plan on going 3-4 times a week. I am taking this protein shake every morning called Six Star Pro Nutrition Fit 100% protein isolate, created for women by women. It has 16 grams of protein, 70 calories, 0 grams of fat, and 2 Grams of carbs per serving. My trainer said its great for you. I’m really liking this protein powder because it is french vanilla flavored and I mix it with almond milk which, is also healthy for you. Im on a meal plan set by my trainer. Drinking as much water as I can. I also drink one bottle of gatorade a day because my meal plan has no sodium and you need some sodium in your diet which gatorade has a lot of, including electrolytes which is good for working out. I have one green vegetable with both lunch and dinner. I have a lot of mushrooms as well, because I secretly love them. I have baked chicken, ground chicken, ground turkey, fresh deli meat, or tuna for a main dish. I have 1-2 Cliff bars a day. One for breakfast and one for a mid day snack in between lunch and dinner. I have at least 5 small meals a day to speed up my metabolism which is good for losing weight. I hope this new lifestyle works out for me and I lose the weight. I will try and make a post about my progress once a week or once every 2 weeks depending on how fast I lose the weight. Wish me luck, cross your fingers!!
